Life on the frozen tundra of South Dakota Life on the frozen tundra of South Dakota

On January 14, 2014 our band was asked to play for the Sunday morning service at Christ Community Church in Sioux Falls. So as any good band would do, we got together for a rehearsal beforehand.

One of the songs on the set list was a cover of "10,000 Reasons" by Matt Redman. I don't remember what prompted it, but at one point Neil turned to my brother and me and said something to the effect of, "start the song however you see fit." Tim and I looked at each other and immediately started playing the song reggae style.

I think initially we intended it to be a joke, but once we started we realized that the song lended itself quite well to reggae. So we wound up working out the arrangement and performing it in this style on Sunday morning.
